World Games Swimming Pool Now Open

On Saturday Wroclaw's new World Games swimming pool on ul. Wejherowska was officially opened.

The new pool, which is the largest in Lower Silesia, will be used for two World Games disciplines – water rescue and underwater swimming. An additional outdoor pool will also host canoe polo matches during the World Games, which is to take place between 20th and 30th of July.

The new complex boasts an olympic size pool with a 600 capacity grandstand, as well as numerous facilities for the disabled.

The pool is now fully operational and as of this morning, swimmers can check the place out for themselves.

Entrance to new the new pool costs either 18zl or 22zl per hour depending on whether it is morning, evening, a weekday or a weekend. Concession tickets are 3zl less, while family discounts are also available.
