World’s Best Beer Of 2016 Brewed In Wroclaw

Wroclaw's Browar Stu Mostów has been credited with producing 2016's best beer by the popular review website ratebeer.com.

Named ART9 / Bristol Brewing Oatmeal Hoptart, the beer was the result of collaboration with the Bristol Brewing Company from Colorado Springs. The beer also won gold medal awards in the categories of low alcohol beers and Berliner Weisee style beers.

ART9, which is inspired by the refreshing summer lemonades consumed at the Colorado Rockies, has an alcohol percentage of 3.9% and uses Citra, Topaz and Galaxy hops.

According the to Browar Stu Mostów, the aim behind the beer was to create a truly refreshing brew without adding any lemon whatsoever. To do so, the brewery used the aforementioned hops to maximum effect in order to create a beer that is light and refreshing with a proper kick of sourness and hoppiness.

ART 9 currently enjoys an incredible rating of 100% on the ratebeer.com website, putting it inside the top 50 beers currently available on the market anywhere in the world.

Those who want to try the beer for themselves can go to the brewery's own restaurant and bar, located on the north side of the Warsaw bridge. Alternatively, you may come across the beer at the city's craft beer haunts (Marynka Piwo i Apertivo, Kontynuacja, Pub Targowa, Szynkarnia etc) or specialist beer shops (e.g Drink Hala, Piwnica).
