New Places To Check Out This February

With Wroclaw’s food and nightlife scene changing on an almost daily basis, Wroclaw Uncut has had a hard time catching up. So to keep you informed of all the new venues in town, we’ve decided to kick-start a new monthly feature.

Starting from today, each month we’ll be making a list of a few new places that have sprung up in Wroclaw. To find out addresses and further details, just click on the pictures, which shall direct you to the relevant Facebook page. Here’s what’s opened in the last month or so:

Menu Motto

The latest hip restaurant to open outside Wroclaw’s city centre, Menu Motto has a Masterchef champion in the kitchen to help bring success. Located near the gourmet market, this rather swanky venue could be on to a winner.

Mango Mama Rynek

Despite the name, this new Indian restaurant isn’t actually on the market square. It is pretty damn close though, and given that Mango Mama have already made a positive impression with their restaurant in Nadodrze, this city centre locale could prove popular.

Chimney Cake Bakery

Wroclaw has shown itself to have a big appetite for natural ice cream and pączki, so could Hungarian chimney cake be the new trend for 2017? The team behind this new city centre street food venue clearly hope so.

Burger. Ltd

The burger craze has come and gone, but it seems Burger. Ltd are still going strong; the former Ruska street burger joint has now moved into the premisis left by Strass Burger.

Cuda na Kiju

The latest arrival on Bogusławskiego street, Cuda na Kiju is yet another multi-tap attempting to grab a share of the craft beer market. The new venue does various nibbles and tapas to go with your hoppy brews as well.

Doctor’s Bar

Cudu na Kiju isn’t the only new multi-tap in town this month either; Doctor’s bar is another new bar for beers snobs to consider. Has the craft beer scene reached saturation point? We’ll find out soon.

Bistro Garage

Another popular trend at the moment is stone baked Italian pizza, something that Bistro Garage is looking to tap-into. Taking on the city’s best pizza joints will nonetheless prove a tall order.

PieRogi Vegan

This new vegan place looks punk enough in the photo, but the prices appear otherwise. Still, vegans will be delighted to see yet more choice coming to Wroclaw.

Oh Crepe

A new place for French pancakes near Wyspa Slodowa.

Kawa i Makaronik

One for the sweet-toothed, this little cafe produces all kinds of pretty little meringue cakes.

Love steak? This appears to be the place to check out – Campo’s Argentinean beef steaks have been the talk of the town lately.
