Christmas Market To Open On Friday


Ready for some mulled wine on the Rynek? It's almost that time of the year again as the Christmas market is just a few days away from opening.

The first stalls will start trading on the market square as early as this Friday morning, when you can expect to find the usual mix of Christmas music, grilled smoked cheese, roasted chestnuts, mulled wine, amber Jewellery, mead, cured meats, sweets and seasonal gifts. 

According to tuwroclaw.com, some of the foreign dishes and products on sale at the market will be as follows:

  • flammkuchen
  • mature Italian cheeses
  • smoked fish
  • Turkish baklava and pastries
  • churros
  • Italian smoked paprika sausage
  • venison salami
  • kolozsvári
  • Lángos
  • Jewellery from Zambia, Mozambique, Tanzania, Congo and Uganda

Going by previous years, you should also be able to find plenty of chocolate, candy floss, waffles, beer, Polish & German sausages, plus numerous other goods from countries all over Europe.
