Asymmetry Festival Preview

Wroclaw's Asymmetry Festival, which has been organised in the city since 2009, returns this weekend having made the shift from its traditional Majowka timeslot.

The core of festival is about reaching out to an array of different musical genres including metal, rock, jazz, electronic and pop. The ultimate goal of the organisers has always been to present unrestrained artists who dare to stray from the traditions of popular music.

Over the last six years Asymmetry has developed a reputation for setting trends and creating a meeting place for different cultures and contemporary creatives. This year, just like in previous editions, a number of artists in the line-up will perform in Poland for the first time.

Tickets for individual concerts during the festival can still be purchased on ticketpro for between 90-120zl. All of the concerts will take place in popular live venue Klub Firlej on Grabiszyńska street.

The 2016 lineup boasts artists such as American country music band Slim Cessna’s Auto Club, Finnish melodic death/doom metal band Swallow the Sun, haunting solo artist Darkher, gothic country outfit DBUK and British heavy metal trio Conan.
