City Bikes Available To Rent Again From Today

Today the popular Nextbike bike rental service will once again be open to cyclists.

At the end of last year, Wrocław's city bike users had 74 stations and 740 bicycles at their disposal. This year another two stations will be added, taking the number of bikes available up to 760. The first of those new stations will be on ul. Strachocińska, with the other to be built on the corner of ul. Żmigrodzka and Kasprowicza.

In 2015 a huge upturn in popularity of the service was recorded – between April and the end of November the bikes were used a record 860,000 times by almost 40,000 unique users.

During the last three months the Nextbike company have been doing system maintenance, repairing bicycles and preparing the infrastructure for the upcoming season.

Prices are the same as last year; the first 20 minutes are for free, then the following 40 minutes cost 2 zł. After the first hour the price then increases to 4 zł per hour.
