Piotr Cwielong came off the bench to effect once again yesterday, scoring the only goal of the game in a rather drab encounter against Pogoń Szczecin.
Cwielong's match winning strike was set up by fellow substitute Eric Mouloungui, and gave Śląsk a much needed Ekstraklasa victory. Wrocław are now three points clear of the pack chasing the last Europa League qualifying place, but will certainly need to improve their performances to maintain this position.
Once again Sebastian Mila was ineffective, with speculation about his future seemingly having a profound affect on his output on the pitch. The introduction of Mouloungui and Cwielong gave the team an added impetus, and one would hope that Levy elects to use them in the starting line up on Wednesday.
The players will now need to pick themselves up for the grueling task of coming back from two goals behind in the 2nd leg of the Polish Cup final against Legia Warszawa. The match kicks off at 20.30 on Wednesday evening and is live on TVN Turbo and Orange Sport.
